Cookies we need
Barbwire does not work without these. They need no consent, and they never track you on other sites.
- bw_session: Keeps you signed in. HttpOnly: the page's scripts cannot read it. Lasts: 30 days.
- bw_pending: Holds a Google sign-in while you create your account. Lasts: 30 minutes.
- bw_oauth: Ties Google's answer to your browser, against forged sign-ins. Lasts: 10 minutes.
- barbwire-consent (local storage): Remembers your answer in the cookie banner. Lasts: Until you clear it.
Analytics cookie, only with your consent
We use PostHog, hosted in the EU, to see which parts of Barbwire help you and which get in your way. PostHog sets its cookie (named ph_…) and local storage only after you press Allow cookies. It lasts up to 1 year.
- Before you choose, PostHog counts page views without any cookie, and forgets you when you close the page.
- If you press No thanks, Barbwire sends no analytics at all.
We have no advertising cookies. Stripe sets its own cookies on its checkout and billing pages, under Stripe’s cookie policy. Google does the same on its sign-in page.
Change your choice
The cookie banner asks again when you press this button. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings.
