Website consistency check with AI buyer personas

Give buyers one answer on every page.

Different people wrote your pricing page, your help center and your homepage at different times. A buyer reads them in one sitting. Barbwire reads them the same way and shows you where they disagree.

Check your pages
  • Two quotes with their steps
  • At most three, worst first
  • Where your story breaks

One page is right. The next page says something else.

A price changes. The pricing page gets the update. The help article keeps the old number. Each page is correct to the person who owns it.

Nobody on your team reads the whole site in order, as a stranger does.

One persona walks the pages. A second reading compares them.

  1. Send a persona through your site.
  2. After the run, a second reading takes the text of every screen the persona saw, in order. It checks three things. Do two pages state one fact with two values? Did a button promise one thing and open another? Does the first screen promise what the next pages drop?
  3. Each finding has two quotes with their steps. Code checks both against the stored page text and throws away any it cannot find.
  4. You get at most three, worst first, in the report section “Where your story breaks”.

Independent example · 19 October 2026

What you see: a marketer finds two prices for Pro.

Marketing lead · Ideal buyer

Would buy

We built a marketing lead at a 12-person startup, leaving Typeform over its response limits, and sent her to tally.so. She read Pricing, the fair use policy and the plans help page. She reached the signup page at step 17. Would buy, 4 of 5. The report also listed one story break:

Step 3, tally.so/pricing“€ 20 per month”
Story break
Step 16, tally.so/help/plans-and-pricing“Tally Pro - $29/mo”

Step 16

Her thought:

“Is Pro twenty euros a month or twenty-nine dollars? Which price do I budget for?”

Severity 2 of 3.

Fix:

  1. 1

Make the Pro price on the help plans page match the pricing page, including currency.

Both prices may be right for their region. A buyer who reads both still has to ask which one applies. This is one simulated decision, not a verdict on Tally. The site may have changed since then. Tally did not commission or endorse this example.

Make them say the same. Then send her again.

The fix names the element to change. Change it. Then send the same persona from the same start page. That section should come back empty. A new break links to its two quotes and their screenshots, so you can check it before you act.

Limits

A fact that one page leaves out is never a story break. A persona sees only part of a long page. The second reading also reviews every snag from the run. It can keep, soften or drop one, never add one.
